BD WEB TEK SEO Copilot ("we", "us", "our") is operated by BD WEB TEK. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use our SEO analytics service at seocopilot.bdwebtek.com (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
Account information
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and a securely hashed password. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account email and a unique identifier.
Google user data (Search Console & Analytics)
With your explicit authorization via Google OAuth, the Service accesses—on a read-only basis—your Google Search Console performance data and, optionally, your Google Analytics 4 reporting data. We use this data solely to provide the SEO analytics, diagnostics, rank tracking, and reporting features you request. We store aggregated metrics (queries, pages, clicks, impressions, positions, sessions) to power your dashboards and historical trends.
Usage and technical data
We collect basic usage information (features used, metered external-API calls) and standard server logs (IP address, browser type) to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
Payment information
Subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Paddle, which acts as the merchant of record. We do not receive or store your full card details; we retain only a customer and subscription identifier and your plan status.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Service and its analytics features.
- To generate diagnostics, to-do recommendations, and weekly reports.
- To process subscriptions, trials, and billing through Paddle.
- To send transactional email (e.g. reports, account and billing notices).
- To secure the Service and prevent abuse, and to comply with legal obligations.
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Service (hosting, email delivery, and the AI provider that generates your report narratives), bound by confidentiality obligations and processing data only on our instructions.
- Paddle, to process your payments.
- Authorities, where required by law or to protect our rights.
4. Data retention and deletion
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may disconnect Google access at any time, and you may request deletion of your account and associated data by emailing us. When you delete a workspace or site, its associated SEO data is removed. Revoking access in your Google Account permissions stops all further data access.
5. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, encryption of stored Google refresh tokens, and hashed passwords. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your information.
6. Cookies
We use a single essential session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
7. International transfers
We may process data in countries other than yours. Where we do, we take steps to ensure your data receives an adequate level of protection.
8. Children
The Service is not directed to individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will post the new version here and update the "Last updated" date.
